Very Rare, and Very Sought After, Moss Green, Vintage, ‘Monarch’

A collector’s favourite, this vintage Hermes scarf a wonderful find for any dog-lover, ‘Monarch’ is by the highly revered artist Xavier de Poret, designed in 1974 and reissued in 1979. This example is in great condition, considering it’s fifty years old! There are just a few feint purple and very tiny marks, and a tiny bit of slightly uneven colouring in the background green. Condition 8/10.

The scarf features an assortment of dogs, perhaps it’s named after a favourite hound? The background is hunter green, with a forest green border. Perfect for anyone who loves dogs, and a favourite with our late queen – a ‘monarch’ herself!
