Hermes City of Light Unworn

A wonderfully detailed, quirky, current and colourful scarf. Designed by artist Elias Kafouros, the motif depicts a nocturnal journey through Paris, using graphic storytelling and luminous contrast to highlight the city’s architecture.  This scarf would be described as MINT, but it has some extra folds as well as the original ones, and we don’t have the heart to press it! Care label intact.

My Little Hermes Collection writes: Elias Kafouros makes me feel old and young all at the same time. I’m not quite old enough to be his mother, but close. Despite my curmudgeonly status, I adore his scarves. There is a density and depth of detail in every design; the designs all tell stories. And like many of my favourite artists, his work can have me mesmerised in a very Where’s Waldo sort of way. Cheekily, most of the characters in his scarves are horsepeople (ok this can be kind of creepy). This is a hallmark of his designs for mens and womens scarves, but he’s probably most appreciated for the Eleftheria women’s scarf which is an ode to his home country of Greece.
